Poverty Simulation Seminar-12:30pm-4:30pm
MHVC and Bronxworks invites you to an informative and immersive program that explores the relationship between poverty and health disparities. Participants will take on the roles of family members living on a limited budget and learn about the challenges and difficult choices they make and the toll it takes on their health and access to care. Upon completing the simulation, participants will be prepared to identify opportunities to improve health equity for patients in their own workplace. Continuing Education credits available.

Dr. Diane McKee is the founding director of NYC RING. She also directs BraveNet, a national integrative medicine practice based research network. Dr. McKee is a nationally recognized researcher, with a particular expertise in health services research, including mixed qualitative and quantitative methods, and stakeholder-engaged research methods. She was recently awarded an AHRQ and PCORI supported K award program focused on training investigators to conduct learning health system research. Dr. McKee currently serves as Chair of the Department of Family and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. CME credits available.

Call For Abstracts
We invite you to share your work with the NYC RING community, whether it be a small quality improvement project or funded research. There is no limit on the number of posters/storyboards that may be submitted, but each must be registered.
Preference will be given to submissions that are aligned with this year’s theme
“Addressing Patient’s Need: What Matters Most to Patients”.
Posters
You will be notified via email with regards to the acceptances of your submission.
All Abstracts must be submitted via the registration link by March 1st, 2020.
